Graeme Souness has ruled himself out of the running to succeed George Burley amid rumours that he will be the next Scotland manager.

The former Liverpool boss is usually one of the first on the 'reported shortlists' drawn up whenever a position becomes available.

Souness has been out of work since leaving Newcastle in 2006 but, as this guide proves, he's not the only manager to constantly find himself linked to managerial vacancies without ever actually getting them.
