Sponsor may sue 'unfair' Fifa
One of the sponsors of England's failed 2018 World Cup bid has called on Fifa to give £1m to grass-roots football as compensation for an "unfair" bidding process.
Supermarket chain Morrisons has instructed lawyers to "examine options" for claiming compensation.
Richard Taylor, Morrisons director of corporate affairs, said: "The FA team put together a fantastic bid... Fifa was clearly intent on locating the 2018 World Cup in an emerging country."
