Supporters review of the season: Chelsea

Winning the FA Cup is scant reward for the richness of footballing talent Chelsea possess.

The bumbling Luiz Felipe Scolari was replaced too late by the astute Guus Hiddink. The result? Chelsea were unsuccessful playing catch-up in the Premier League and underachieved in the Champions League. Chelsea's top brass have stated they want stability in the manager's office. The man needed to lift those two titles and to survive the ruthlessness of the board has yet to be invented, so further tribulations seem to lay ahead. There is no one more vital to Chelsea's successes than Didier Drogba. Offering him some anger management and TV presenting sessions is all that's required to keep him producing the goods. A bit more luck on the injury front would have helped - the loss of Joe Cole and Ricardo Carvalho at the business end of the season were defining moments of the season. It also did not help that a couple of players found themselves off the sports pages and into the gossip sections.

Which team were your best opponents?

Everton proved that tenacity, applied to tactical acumen, can go a long way to stifling the Blues. Two 0-0 draws proved that.

Who would you most like your team to sign this summer?

Kaka, for his midfield guile and scoring ability and Lionel Messi for his unpredictable mesmeric running and firepower.

What was the weirdest/funniest moment of your season?

Didier Drogba's outburst after losing the Champions League semi-final - weird and funny. Also understandable, as any park player can testify.
