Trending: Reflected glory takes on a new meaning

It was the most important moment in Chelsea's 107-year history. And the images of John Terry, Roberto Di Matteo, et al, lifting the European Cup on Saturday will go down in club lore.

So a slow handclap then for one man, stood two rows back, who found himself in most of the shots of the occasion.

That man was David Gill (circled), chief exec of Chelsea's rivals, Manchester United.

A post on the United fans' group IMUSA's website compared Gill's "photobomb" to infamous prankster Karl Power, who changed into his kit to bustle in on United's team photo before a quarter-final loss in 2001.

The next move is presumably Chelsea chief executive Ron Gourlay's.
