Here is the mercurial French striker Thierry Henry smashing in an astonishing goal for New York Red Bulls in their 2-1 win over Kansas City in a Major League Soccer fixture last night.
Henry, who scored a record 228 goals for Arsenal, cut inside from the left and fired a rocket of a strike from 20 yards past Kansas goalkeeper Andy Gruenebaum.
Former Manchester City striker Bradley Wright-Phillips set New York on their way to the win, scoring from the penalty spot in the 11th minute.

Even at the age of 37 Henry is still scoring wonder goals for fun, so is a third spell at Arsenal on the cards? Because of the timing of the MLS season he will have a bit of free time in January...
