West Ham co-owner David Gold was reeled in on social media this morning by a fellow user of Twitter apparently unhappy about the club's switch to the Olympic Stadium.
The Hammers are due to vacate their historic home of Upton Park in order to move into the stadium built for the 2012 Games. The switch has not been welcomed by all fans.
In a Twitter exchange, a fan asked Gold for advice on whether it would be a good idea to sell his house and rent instead.
The fan had caught a big one when the West Ham co-owner replied by saying he didn't think so.
Then it was just time to reel Gold in. "thanks Dave," wrote the fan. "So why have we sold uptonpark [sic] to rent the os (Olympic Stadium)?

Gold didn't reply to that one.
