Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been left fuming after he was named as only the second greatest Swedish sportsman - behind tennis legend Bjorn Borg.

The Paris Saint-Germain striker was named behind Borg, who won 11 Grand Slams in a stellar career, in a poll by Swedish newspaper Dagens Nyheter, who ranked the top 150 sporting Swedes.

The striker, who has won nine league titles in four countries responded to his congratulations by saying: "Thank you, but to finish second is like finishing last."

When asked who he would consider his top Swedes, he gave a typical Zlatan answer: "I would have been No 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, with due respect to the others."

The 33-year-old, whose team face Chelsea in the last-16 of the Champions League, did admit that Borg was a "cool person" and a "living legend".
