Adnan Januzaj likes Vincent Kompany’s title celebration post on Instagram to risk wrath of Manchester United fans
The former United midfielder gave his approval for City’s title triumph despite his ties to the red half of Manchester

Former Manchester United player Adnan Januzaj left little doubt to whether he has cut ties with the club after liking Vincent Kompany’s Instagram post that celebrated their Premier League title victory at the weekend, which is almost certain to leave a bad taste in the mouths of those fans who used to cheer him on at Old Trafford.
Januzaj, who now plays for La Liga side Real Sociedad, left United at the start of the season after loan spells with Borussia Dortmund and Sunderland, having failed to build on his promotion from the United academy back in 2013 under David Moyes.
The 23-year-old was a crowd favourite ay the club having risen through the ranks after joining from Anderlecht back in 2011, but his development stalled after his first season with the club and it soon became apparent that manager Jose Mourinho did not see a future for him at Old Trafford.
But that good relationship with the United fans is likely to be over after Januazaj liked the Manchester City captain’s Instagram post on Monday that featured a video montage of his best moments this season – which culminated in City being crowned the Premier League champions on Sunday at United’s expense after they lost 1-0 to West Bromwich Albion.

Januzaj is of course international teammates with Kompany, with the 23-year-old born in Brussels despite hailing from Kosovar-Albanian parents, but his latest Instagram activitiy is unlikely to have gone down well on the red half of Manchester.
