Alexis Sanchez has been named Arsenal's Player of the Season, after enjoying a terrific campaign for the club in which he scored 25 goals.
Sanchez joined Arsenal from Barcelona for £35m last summer, and immediately hit form for the Gunners, scoring his first goal in the Champions League play-off season leg against Besiktas in August.
The Chile forward, 26, ended his season with a sublime goal in the FA Cup final, powering in from long range in the 4-0 win over Aston Villa last month.
Gunners' manager Arsene Wenger said of Sanchez: "He is very positive, always wants to go forward, wants to hurt the opponent and he is also - what the fans like with him - a fighter. He is a guy who has a good combination of talent, combative aspect and fighting spirit."
Sanchez, however, says he was "disappointed" by Arsenal's failure to win more trophies last season.
"I would have liked to be in the Champions League final or to have won the Premier League title," he said.
"We have a bunch of skilful players so to not achieve more is disappointing."
