On the eve of the north London derby, Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil decided to tweet that Arsenal planned to "rob three points" against Tottenham at White Hart Lane.
That decision has backfired badly for the German World Cup winner after Spurs won 2-1 in a dominant performance. No "robbing" was done. While Ozil scored the opening goal in the 11th minute, the Gunners were soon over-run by their local rivals, with star striker Harry Kane scoring twice to secure the win.
The Gunners' manager Arsene Wenger said after the match that Kane should be called up to the England squad for the first time.
"He was good as always. He grows and he has a good determination. He doesn't stop, he keeps going," he said to BT Sport .
