It's a big game for…

Max Gradel: The Ivorian winger has had previous spells at both clubs, and he was once loaned from Leicester to Bournemouth.

Upon returning to Leicester, Gradel helped them to promotion to the Premier League in 2009, but wasn’t deemed ready for Premier League football, and loaned back to the Championship again. Back in the top flight with Bournemouth, he’ll have something to prove to his former employers.

Best stat…

0: There has never been a competitive draw between Bournemouth and Leicester, with the latter leading the overall head-to-head record by six wins to three.

Remember when…

The previous meeting between the two sides was a Championship fixture last year, in which Kevin Phillips scored the only goal of the game to win it at the death. There was controversy however; as Bournemouth were adamant the ball had not crossed the line.

Player to watch…

Callum Wilson: After firing blanks in their first two Premier League fixtures, Bournemouth suddenly burst back into the goal-scoring form that saw them win the Championship last season by scoring four at West Ham. Wilson was the star-man last weekend, as the 23-year-old forward bagged himself three of those goals. He’ll be expected to add to that tally against Leicester, a team without a clean sheet this season.

Past three-meetings…

Bournemouth 0 Leicester 1 (Phillips), Championship, February 2014

Leicester 2 (Nugent, Vardy) Bournemouth 1(Pugh), Championship, October 2013

Bournemouth 2 (Peacock, Aylott) Leicester 3 (?), Division 2, April 1990

Form guide…

Leicester City: WDWWWD
