Mauricio Pochettino calls for Tottenham to play like Lionel Messi

Bournemouth and Tottenham met in what turned into a bad-tempered affair on Saturday afternoon with Nathan Ake the latest of late heroes for the Cherries.

Mauricio Pochettino's side were reduced to nine men after not one but two players were shown red cards for violent conduct at the Vitality Stadium.

Son Heung-min was given his marching orders shortly before the break after lashing out and pushing Jefferson Lerma.

And after the interval subsitute Juan Foyth was only on the pitch for a little over two minutes before he himself was dismissed after a wild challenge on Jack Simpson.

And the hosts finally made their numerical advantage count with Ake rising highest from a late corner in injury time to head the winner.
