Cardiff have acquitted themselves well in their first ever season in the Premier League and sit in 14th position heading into the weekend’s fixtures.

Bluebirds' manager Malky Mackay has been subject to a lot of media speculation in recent weeks with rumours circulating that the board are unhappy with him and that Crystal Palace were going to make an approach for his services. No such offer emerged and Mackay will now be hoping his Cardiff side can pull off another upset at the Cardiff City Stadium, just like they did when they beat Manchester City 3-2 earlier in the season.

David Moyes has endured a rather shaky start to his reign at Old Trafford and will be hoping he can ease the pressure with a win in Wales this weekend. The current champions head to Cardiff sitting in 5th position and on a five game unbeaten run so they will be hoping to make more ground on table topping Arsenal, who they beat 1-0 in the previous round of Premier League fixtures.
