Chelsea team news: Mateo Kovacic and Marcos Alonso doubts for Wolves Premier League match
Kovacic was replaced by match-winner Ruben Loftus-Cheek in Chelsea's win against Fulham
Mateo Kovacic and Marcos Alonso are doubts for Chelsea's Premier League clash at Wolverhampton Wanderers on Wednesday.
Midfielder Kovacic has an ankle problem and Alonso has a back complaint, with both set to be assessed before kick-off.
Blues head coach Maurizio Sarri may rotate his options in the second of nine games in December, so Ruben Loftus-Cheek could make his first Premier League start of the season.
Eden Hazard missed Chelsea’s Europa League win against PAOK last week after picking up an ankle injury during Maurizio Sarri’s first league defeat as Chelsea manager, but returned to action at the weekend against Fulham and is available for the midweek match.
Meanwhile, Wolves will be without Ruben Neves when they host Chelsea at Molineux on Wednesday night.
The Portuguese playmaker received his fifth yellow card of the season during the defeat at Cardiff and he must serve a one-match suspension.

Wing-back Jonny Otto continues his recovery from the knee injury he sustained while playing for Spain during last month's international break.
