Alexis Sanchez remains on Manchester United's substitutes' bench for Saturday's lunchtime kick-off against Chelsea, despite earning Jose Mourinho's side three points against Newcastle.

Sanchez, who played 90 minutes in Chile's 1-0 victory over Mexico on Wednesday night, scored a late header to complete a remarkable 3-2 turnaround against Rafael Benitez's side last time out.

Juan Mata, whose free-kick started United's comeback, comes into the side for Scott McTominay while Victor Lindelof replaces Eric Bailly in the centre of defence.

Chelsea makes two changes from their 3-0 victory at Southampton before the recent international break, with Alvaro Morata and Mateo Kovacic coming into Maurizio Sarri's side.
