Chelsea vs Newcastle predicted line-ups: Team news and more ahead of Stamford Bridge clash
Chelsea and Newcastle resume action after winning their final game before the international break
Chelsea look to win their third consecutive Premier League game at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, with Newcastle United the visitors.
Injuries to N'Golo Kante, Andreas Christensen and Ma teo Kovacic ensured it was a rocky international break for Frank Lampard, who also remain without Antonio Rudiger and Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
Callum Hudson-Odoi is expected to continue in the front three, while there could be an opportunity for Ross Barkley after he impressed for England in Bulgaria.
Newcastle will be without Matt Ritchie, who has had surgery on his ankle, and the suspended Isaac Hayden.
