West Ham supporting children must have been naughty this year.

The Premier League club have been forced to announce that junior sizes of their replica shirts will not be available in the run-up to Christmas.

A statement on the Hammers' website gives an explanation to the "disappointing" news.

It read: "Adidas informed the Club on Thursday that its major junior order for the Christmas period will not be delivered due to stock supply issues. This disappointing news means that the Club will not be receiving any further children's replica kits this season and will therefore be out of stock in most junior sizes in the run-up to Christmas."

Adidas also released a statement confirming the issue: "Unfortunately due to stock supply issues we have been unable to provide the originally agreed quantities of the new West Ham United Matchwear in time for Christmas. We apologise for any inconvenience caused to fans. We are confident that alternative adidas West Ham United clothing range can be found currently in stores."

In a bid to keep young West Ham supporters and the parents who could be faced with some disgruntled children happy, the club have announced a discount on other items available to purchase.
