Brazil defender David Luiz will miss Chelsea's match with Real Madrid in Miami tomorrow, the Blues have announced.

The 26-year-old returned from a post-Confederations Cup holiday to join Jose Mourinho's squad for their tour to the United States and played 30 minutes of the match with Inter Milan last Thursday.

However, Luiz did not train with the rest of the squad today and has been ruled out of the Real match for an unspecified reason.

Chelsea wrote on Twitter: "While the other lads trained, DavidLuiz-4 completed his own workout. He won't play against Real tomorrow."
