Fantasy football scout tips gameweek 37: Sergio Aguero, Eden Hazard, Wilfried Zaha and more

Sergio Aguero

In these final weeks of the long Premier League campaign, it is always worth targeting players at clubs who are within touching distance of achieving their objectives.

Manchester City can take another step towards retaining the Premier League title on Monday night and will benefit from seven days of rest for the visit of Leicester City.

Expect Sergio Aguero to start and prosper. Aguero ended a four-game scoring drought at Turf Moor last time out but has an excellent home record, with 15 of his 20 league goals this season coming at the Etihad.

Eden Hazard

At Chelsea, meanwhile, last week's 1-1 draw at Old Trafford means that a top-four finish and place in next year's Champions League is within their grasp.

Maurizio Sarri's side host Watford this weekend and the visitors, safely mid-table, are likely to have one eye on their upcoming FA Cup final.

While Pedro or even Ruben Loftus-Cheek offer cut-price routes into Chelsea, the obvious choice is Eden Hazard. He may be inconsistent but his home form is not, with attacking returns in each of his last four at Stamford Bridge.

Diogo Jota

Wolverhampton Wanderers may have considerably less to play for than either City or Chelsea, but Nuno Espirito Santo's side will want to ensure that they finish as 'the best of the rest' by securing seventh place.

With a trip to Anfield to come on the last day, this weekend's home game against relegated Fulham presents a decent opportunity for three points.

Raul Jimenez will be well-backed, as he has been all season, but Diogo Jota continues to pick up midfield points at a modest price, with two goals and an assist in his last two outings.

Lucas Digne

Has there been a more frustrating player to own this season than Everton's Lucas Digne? The full-back has been an excellent addition at Goodison Park but too erratic for the tastes of some fantasy managers.

And yet, since a horrendous run of 0-point or negative scores over Christmas, Digne has provided excellent value for money as part of an improving Everton defence, scoring 31 points over the last four gameweeks alone.

Marco Silva's side are chasing Wolves for seventh spot and on Friday night they welcome Burnley, who have already secured their place in the Premier League for another year.

Wilfried Zaha

Cardiff City desperately need points to keep their heads above water at the bottom of the table but they entertain a Crystal Palace side who have a decent record on the road this season.

Much of that is down to Wilfried Zaha, who appears to benefit from playing on the counter-attack, with eight goals and five assists away from home this season.

Zaha spent a short time on loan in south Wales five years ago, when Cardiff's first Premier League season ended in relegation. He could well seal their return to the Championship in Saturday's tea-time kick-off.
