Raul Jimenez

This is an awkward week with top sides facing each other and two - Liverpool and West Ham - blanking. It is likely to be a low-scoring week, making transfers and captaincy all the more decisive.

Raul Jimenez may be the answer. The Wolves forward has seven attacking returns in his last nine outings and comes up against relegation-threatened Norwich.

Richarlison

Both Everton and Arsenal are likely to step into uncharted territory on Saturday under new managerial regimes, making their match-up difficult to predict.

Arsenal's struggles away from home pre-date any manager though and that could play into the hands of Richarlison, who has four goals in six league games.

Jack Grealish

Grealish ended gameweek 17 with nothing after missing a penalty in Aston Villa's defeat at Bramall Lane, though there is a good chance he makes amends over Christmas.

Villa's favourable festive run begins with fellow strugglers Southampton visiting the west Midlands, while Norwich make the trip up on Boxing Day.

Vicente Guaita

Despite Crystal Palace only drawing 1-1 with Brighton on Monday night, goalkeeper Guaita returned an impressive eight points and collected all three bonus.

With 34 points in just his last four appearances, Guaita's form is becoming difficult to ignore and a trip to low-scoring Newcastle promises yet more returns.

Jetro Willems

That being said, Palace are one of two teams to score fewer league goals than Newcastle this season, so a defender from the home side is also wise too.

Willems carries the most attacking potential of all Steve Bruce's options at the back, with two goals to his name already this season.

Honourable mentions: Aaron Ramsdale, Martin Kelly, Serge Aurier, Son Heung-Min, Danny Ings
