Leroy Sané

Raheem Sterling’s recent fitness woes have caused plenty of headaches for his owners over the past few weeks, and though he could return at Stoke City on Monday night, one of his team-mates may now be a better option.

Manchester City’s Leroy Sane recently recovered from an injury of his own and has shown glimpses of the form that made him essential earlier in the season.

His ownership has significantly dropped since then though, meaning the 22-year-old could be a useful acquisition for those looking to make up lost ground in their mini-leagues.

Riyad Mahrez

Retaining his place among the picks for another week, Riyad Mahrez repaid our faith by scoring a late free-kick in Leicester City’s 1-1 draw with Bournemouth last weekend.

The Algerian had been threatening a double-digit haul since returning from his east Midlands exile and another may be on the way this weekend as Claude Puel’s side visit basement club West Bromwich Albion.

Mahrez is another whose ownership remains relatively low - currently sitting at just 9 per cent - and has the most enticing fixture of any medium-to-high price midfielder.

Christopher Schindler

Huddersfield Town’s form had picked up before last week’s testing trip to Tottenham Hotspur, with back-to-back victories against relegation battle rivals Bournemouth and West Bromwich.

Two home games against other sides in the bottom half now follow, with Swansea City first up this Saturday before Crystal Palace visit in blank gameweek 31.

Alex Pritchard and Rajiv van la Parra are attractive midfield options but for those pinching the pennies, Christopher Schindler offers a cheap option in defence.

Aaron Ramsey

Aaron Ramsey was among gameweek 29’s most transferred-in players but he burnt all his buyers by not being included in Arsenal’s matchday squad for the trip to Brighton and Hove Albion.

Perhaps that was no bad thing, though. Ramsey escaped untainted by that sorry defeat on the south coast and returned to the side on Thursday night, scoring in the San Siro.

The Welshman is yet another ‘differential’ option with just 3.9 per cent of managers currently invested in his talents. That number will surely rise before Watford’s visit to the Emirates this weekend.

Martin Dubravka

Newcastle meet Southampton at St James’ Park this weekend. Rafael Benitez’s side have conceded just twice in their last four home games, while it is hard to see where Mauricio Pellegrino’s strugglers plan to score goals from.

This tentatively leads us towards Martin Dubravka, the Newcastle goalkeeper who has emerged as an option between the sticks since debuting in gameweek 27.

Dubravka is priced at £4.5m and has an extremely low ownership figure, plus a visit from Huddersfield Town is on the horizon in gameweek 32.

Seamus Coleman

Buying into Everton players is a risky business at the moment. Sam Allardyce is struggling to find any sort of consistency and solve the problems that have blighted the club’s season.

Even so, they are one of the eight teams to play in gameweek 31 and, on paper, their gameweek 30 fixture is favourable. Brighton’s tails will be up after that win over Arsenal but their away record is poor, with just seven goals scored on the road.

Seamus Coleman is an old fantasy football favourite and he finally looks ready for an extended spell in the Everton side after his horrific leg break. A clean sheet could well be on the cards this weekend.
