Former West Ham player Nene states he will be playing for Olympiakos next season
Nene did not convince West Ham to extend his stay at Upton Park
Brazilian winger and former West Ham player Nene said he will be moving to Olympiakos, who are looking for Ibrahim Afellay's replacement.
The 33-year-old joined the Hammers last February until the end of the campaign and amassed a mere eight appearances with no goals.
That proved very little to convince West Ham to extend his stay at Upton Park and so he has been looking for the next stop of his long career since May.
TV show Esporte Fantastico posted on Twitter: "Exclusive: Nene reveals to journalist Bruno Piccinato that he will be playing at Olympiakos for the 2015-2016 season."
Nene has played in many different teams throughout his career which include the likes of Santos, Mallorca, Monaco and Paris Saint-Germain.
The Greek champions hoped to cover the void in the wings since last season with former Barcelona player Afellay but the Netherlands international decided to leave and is now looking for a new club.
