Fulham offer Hangeland new deal

Fulham have revealed they are in negotiations with defender Brede Hangeland as they look to secure his future at the club.
The Norwegian international has been one of Fulham's star performers this season, helping the west London club entertain thoughts of a European place.
Yet Hangeland's excellent form has seen him linked with a host of clubs, not least Arsenal, who are thought to be in the hunt for a new centre back.
Fulham manager Roy Hodgson, speaking ahead of tonight's game against Hull, confirmed negotiations were under way to improve and extend Hangeland's deal. "We have had plans for a while to talk to him a) about an extension and b) about improving his contract. That's in hand."
Speaking about possible offers from other clubs, Hodgson said: "If it happens, it happens and we will deal with it the best we can but in the meantime Brede and other players who might interest other clubs are still here and we will do our best to keep them."
