Fulham will hope to replicate their valiant display against Liverpool last weekend when they welcome Brighton to Craven Cottage on Wednesday.

Scott Parker’s side endured a miserable start to their Premier League return, however, a surprise victory against Leicester seemed to kickstart their momentum. Since then, a respectable defeat against Manchester City was followed by a 1-1 draw with champions Liverpool from which Fulham might well have deserved all three points.

The Cottagers have still only taken eight points from 12 games, though, leaving them just adrift of their opponents tonight. Brighton continue to play attractive and fluid football under Graham Potter, but their promising performances are yet to yield great results. They also have just two wins so far this season and were thrashed 3-0 by Leicester last time out.

The Seagulls should have been hoping to avoid a relegation fight this season, but that now seems inevitable unless they can solidify their defence, having already conceded 21 goals thus far - a record only worsened by Fulham, Leeds and West Brom.

Here is everything you need to know:

What is the team news?

Tariq Lamptey is expected to return for Brighton, along with Adam Webster. Leandro Trossard may also start after being left on the bench against Leicester. Adam Lallana is a doubt.

Parker will have to decide whether to stick with the team that successfully stifled Liverpool or reintroduce Aleksandr Mitrovic and Tom Cairney. Kenny Tete and Terence Kongolo remain out.

What are the predicted line-ups?

Fulham: Areola; Aina, Andersen, Adarabioyo; Robinson Lemina, Anguissa, Decordova-Reid; Lookman, Loftus-Cheek; Cavaleiro

What are the odds?

Fulham - 15/8

Draw - 23/10
