Fulham will hope to maintain the momentum created by their valiant draw against Liverpool last weekend when they host Brighton at Craven Cottage on Wednesday. 

Scott Parker’s side were repeatedly questioned after a miserable start to their Premier League return, but a surprise victory against Leicester seems to have rejuvenated the mood at the club. Fans returned to the Cottage for the exhilarating 1-1 draw with Liverpool and provided a clear boost to the players, who will consider themselves unlucky to have not taken all three points from the champions.

There is still plenty of uphill ground to climb, though, with Fulham still having only taken eight points from 12 games, leaving them deep in the midst of a relegation battle. 

It is something of a reverse of fortunes for Brighton, who were thrashed 3-0 by Leicester last time out. Graham Potter’s side have played impressive and attractive football but still have just two wins to show for it and are only two points clear of their opponents tonight. 

That is something of a disappointment for the Seagulls, who have certainly shown moments of great promise, but have all too often been undone in defence. What is the team news?

Tariq Lamptey is expected to return for Brighton, along with Adam Webster. Leandro Trossard may also start after being left on the bench against Leicester. Adam Lallana is a doubt.

Parker will have to decide whether to stick with the team that successfully stifled Liverpool or reintroduce Aleksandr Mitrovic and Tom Cairney. Kenny Tete and Terence Kongolo remain out.
