Harry Maguire commits future to Leicester by signing five-year deal after Manchester United transfer interest
Maguire's value increased after an impressive World Cup and Leicester managed to hold onto their prised asset in the summer despite interest from Manchester United

England and Leicester City defender Harry Maguire has signed a long-term contract which expires in the summer of 2023.
Maguire starred in England's campaign to the World Cup semi-final and was the subject of summer transfer interest from Manchester United.
The 25-year-old joined Leicester from Hull in June 2017 for £17m and has more than tripled his value over the last 12 months.
“Ever since I came to this club, I’ve always reiterated how good they’ve been to me," Maguire told LCTV.
"They gave me an opportunity to play in the Premier League and built a great platform for me to go and perform at the World Cup, so I thank them a lot. I owe them a lot and I’m looking forward to the future.”
Maguire has started in all of Leicester's Premier League matches this season and scored a winning goal late in the game against Southampton.
The cult-hero from the World Cup retained his place in Gareth Southgate's side and played in England's 2-1 defeat to Spain in the Uefa Nations League.
In other good news for Leicester, both Ben Chilwell and Demarai Gray have been called up to the senior England squad.
Luke Shaw's injury at Wembley on Saturday has opened the opportunity for uncapped left-back Chilwell, who moves up from the England Under-21s squad with Gray.
The pair could make their senior bows on home turf this Tuesday as the King Power Stadium plays host to the Three Lions' friendly against Switzerland.
Chilwell and Gray were part of the Foxes' Premier League triumph in 2016 and come into the squad after helping the Young Lions keep control of their European Championship qualifying group with a 0-0 draw against Holland.
Southgate spoke of his intention to turn to the Under-21s squad at the start of the meet-up in the wake of the enforced withdrawals of Adam Lallana and Raheem Sterling.
Uncapped Fulham goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli had been the only player to have been added to the initial squad.
Chilwell and Gray will not be replaced in the Under-21s squad for Tuesday's qualifier in Latvia.
