As the season starts, the pressure mounts – and close attention will be paid to the Dane, who will experience his first Premier League game today when his Swansea side travel to QPR.
Laudrup may have featured for the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid during his playing pomp, but he will be under scrutiny to succeed following the feats of Brendan Rodgers. But Laudrup has spoken defiantly of the task ahead. "I've read a lot of experts saying Swansea is one of the favourites [to be] relegated," he said. "We'll just have to show that these experts are wrong."
