John Terry makes emotional Instagram post following Jose Mourinho sacking by Chelsea
The Chelsea captain thanks the 'Boss'

Chelsea captain John Terry has posted an emotional message on Instagram thanking Jose Mourinho for the "unbelievable memories" following the manager's dismissal.
Mourinho was fired yesterday after overseeing a dire defence of the title he led the club to just seven months ago. With nine defeats in 16 Premier League games, Mourinho left the club for a second time with his side just a point above the relegation zone.
Terry became the latest player to publicly acknowledge the dismissal of Mourinho after Cesc Fabregas thanked the Portuguese coach on Twitter yesterday.
"Thank You doesn't seem enough", he wrote.
"Sad sad day. Gonna miss you Boss The Very Best I have EVER worked with, unbelievable memories together #boss #friend #specialone #bestever"
The public thanks from the Chelsea skipper comes despite Mourinho dropping Terry to the bench at stages this season, which led to reports of a fractured relationship between the pair. Today's message would suggest those claims were wide of the mark. There had also been speculation over the relationship between Fabregas and Mourinho, but Spanish midfielder's message hours after the announcement that Mourinho and Chelsea had parted ways, also indicate those suggestions were incorrect.
"Thank you for all you have done for me. I owe you a lot and we will all miss you. Good luck in the future," he wrote.
Chelsea's players are preparing to play Sunderland this weekend.
