Czech international midfielder Radoslav Kovac has joined English Premier League club West Ham United from Spartak Moscow on a permanent basis, the Russian Premier League side said today.

"Today Kovac joined London club West Ham," Spartak said on their website (www.rus.spartak.com), without providing further details.

The 29-year-old played four seasons for Spartak before being loaned to West Ham for the second part of last season.
