The Premier League's top clubs, including Manchester United, City, Arsenal and Chelsea have been put on alert after Milos Krasic signalled his desire to move to England.
The CSKA Moscow playmaker has been attracting interest from Europe's elite clubs but a move to the Premier League appears his most likely destination.
His agent, Dejan Joksimovic, was quoted as saying: "I think that if Krasic leaves CSKA in January, he is 90 per cent likely to go to England.
"Manchester United? There are three or four big English clubs, with important financial resources, interested in him."
Krasic, who is valued at around £9m, has been told he can leave his Russian club to further his career, opening the door for a January transfer.
