Brendan Rodgers has brought Steven Gerrard back into the Liverpool first team after leaving him out against Stoke at the weekend.

Gerrard, who denied a rift with the Reds boss, came on as a substitute on Saturday after starting the 1-0 win from the bench.

Gerrard's replacing Joe Allen in midfield is one of three changes made by Rodgers to the team that eked out a vital win.

In defence Rodgers has replaced Jose Enrique with Javier Manquillo, meaning Glen Johnson moves to left-back, while Adam Lallana takes the place of Philippe Coutinho behind Rickie Lambert.

For Leicester, now bottom of the Premier League, Nigel Pearson has opted to keep faith with the same XI that was defeated by Queens Park Rangers 3-2 at Loftus Road.

LINE-UPS:

Leicester: Schmeichel, De Laet, Morgan, Wasilewski, Konchesky, Schlupp, Cambiasso, James, Mahrez, Vardy, Ulloa.

Subs: Hamer, Drinkwater, King, Albrighton, Moore, Knockaert, Wood.

Liverpool: Mignolet, Manquillo, Johnson, Toure, Skrtel, Lucas, Gerrard, Henderson, Lallana, Sterling, Lambert.

Subs: Jones, Lovren, Coutinho, Moreno, Allen, Can, Markovic.
