Louis van Gaal makes four changes to the side that drew with PSV Eindhoven in midweek as Manchester United look to go top of the Premier League with a victory at leaders Leicester City.

However, they will have to do so after reshuffling their defence, with Marcos Rojo ruled out shortly before kick-off. With Luke Shaw out until April with a broken leg, Van Gaal has decided to move Daley Blind to left-back and bring in Paddy McNair to partner Chris Smalling in defence.

Michael Carrick returns to the starting line-up after recovering from a calf injury with Morgan Schneiderlin dropping to the substitutes’ bench, while Jesse Lingard and Memphis Depay are replaced by Ashley Young and Juan Mata. Depay drops to the bench, while Lingard misses out through injury.

18-year-old defender Cameron Borthwick-Jackson could make his second appearance after being named as a substitute.

Leicester meanwhile make just one change to the side that dispatched Newcastle 3-0 last weekend, with striker Leonardo Ulloa replaced by Shinji Okazaki.

Jamie Vardy starts in his attempt to score for an 11th-consecutive Premier League match, and should he find the back of the net at the King Power Stadium, he will break Ruud van Nistlerooy’s record.
