Tottenham winger Aaron Lennon has ended speculation about a summer move to Liverpool by signing a new contract.

The new deal will see Yorkshire born Lennon remain at White Hart Lane until 2014.

There has been much rumour in recent weeks that Lennon would leave Harry Redknapp's side, with some reports linking him with a transfer to Real Madrid.

The former Leeds player has returned to form this year after various injury problems, helping Tottenham reach the Carling Cup final which they lost to Manchester United on penalties.

21-year-old Lennon has featured in nearly every game for Tottenham this season and already has 160 appearances for the club under his belt.
