With five red cards in the last five encounters with Liverpool, struggling Newcastle will have to stay disciplined on Monday night if they are to complete a famous double over The Reds. Newcastle come into the game in poor form as John Carver has struggled to get his with the Magpies finding themselves without a win in four.

Liverpool, despite back-to-back losses to Manchester United and Arsenal in April and March, find themselves in relative form. With eight wins in twelve Brendon Rodgers’ side will look to keep the pressure on the Manchester clubs in the race for the top 4.
