The hosts went wild, scoring five unanswered goals against the hapless Welsh

Liverpool comfortably beat bottom-placed Swansea City on Boxing Day as they continued their assault on the top four.

The Reds were convincing, wearing down Swansea's resistance at 1-0.

Coutinho's early wondergoal had settled any nerves that could have arisen with a defensive performance from the visitors but it took the hosts some time to add to that.

When they started, though, they couldn't stop. Mohamed Salah did everything but score, though Roberto Firmino and some unusual names did manage to find the net.
