Manchester City midfielder Gareth Barry has been charged by the Football Association with using abusive and/or insulting words towards a match official in Sunday's defeat at home to United.

The charge relates to an incident after the final whistle. Barry has until 4pm tomorrow to respond and faces a one-game ban.
