Ole Gunnar Solskjaer demands more as Manchester United finish third

Manchester United have unveiled their new home kit for the 2020/21 season.

The traditional red design is complimented with yellow detailing with manufacturers Adidas hoping for a design that “connects people and stands for unity” with the club’s badge as the main inspiration.

“For this season, we looked to create something that connects people and stands for unity,” said Adidas design director Inigo Turner.

“We pretty quickly landed on the crest as it is the representation of the heart and passion of the club, it is symbolic and iconic across the world.

“It is significant as the first component added to each design, and one that makes up the threads of the shirt design for the 2020/21 season.”

United will wear the kit for the first time when they face LASK in the Europa League last-16 second-leg at Old Trafford on Wednesday evening.

Fans will be able to purchase the kit from 11 August.
