As they prepare to meet again at Old Trafford this weekend, we all know that there is no love lost between Arsène Wenger and Jose Mourinho.

The Arsenal manager has already answered the inevitable question of whether he will shake his Manchester United counterpart’s hand (he will, in case you were still wondering).

Pre-match pleasantries are not, however, going to bring about a lasting peace.

Wenger and Mourinho infamously came to physical blows on the Stamford Bridge touchline two years ago during a comfortable 2-0 win for the latter’s Chelsea side.

Now that he’s in charge at OId Trafford and the local derby element has been removed, will their meeting be filled with the same animosity?

Given the history of the rivalry, it seems so. It now stretches back over a decade, with so many various flashpoints that it can be a hard to remember where it all started.

Take a look through the gallery above to re-live the feud between one manager who ‘specialises in failure’ and another ‘disconnected with reality’.

Whose team will come out on top at Old Trafford on Saturday? Let us know in the comments.
