Louis van Gaal has made two changes from his Manchester United side who drew 1-1 with West Ham on Sunday for tonight's match against Burnley at home.

Paddy McNair and Jonny Evans come in for Antonio Valencia and the suspended Luke Shaw. The left-back Shaw misses out after picking up two yellow cards against the Hammers.

TEAMS

Man Utd: De Gea, McNair, Jones, Evans, Rojo, Blind, Di Maria, Januzaj, Rooney, van Persie, Falcao.

Subs: Valdes, Smalling, Valencia, Fellaini, Herrera, Mata, Wilson.

Burnley: Heaton, Trippier, Keane, Shackell, Mee, Boyd, Arfield, Jones, Kightly, Barnes, Ings.

Subs: Gilks, Duff, Lafferty, Wallace, Reid, Vokes, Jutkiewicz.

The build-up to tonight's match has been dominated by United manager Van Gaal's rather bizarre rebuttal to suggestions that Manchester United are a long ball team.

The accusation was put forward by Sam Allardyce after Manchester United salvaged a 1-1 draw against West Ham by resorting to long-ball tactics.

Van Gaal produced a dossier to journalists during his press conference this week to back up his claims.
