Daley Blind recognises Manchester United must be at their best if they are to stop unbeaten Chelsea in their tracks on Sunday.

The Premier League leaders travel to Old Trafford unbeaten, with their latest win being a 6-0 win over Maribor. There are concerns over the fitness of Diego Costa and Loic Remy going into the match, but despite that, Jose Mourinho's side will be fancied to escape with a zero in the defeats column of the league table.

Blind would agree, pointing out that Chelsea are the stand-out team of the season so far.

“The bigger matches are about to start but every match is important. Just look at the top of the table. All the teams up there are one or two points apart,” said Blind.

“Only Chelsea sit up there quite comfortably. But we will have to play our best game on Sunday to get a good result.

“There isn’t a single team in the Premier League you can beat easily. That is one of the things I have found here quickly."

Blind scored his first goal for Manchester United in the 2-2 draw with West Brom, his sweet strike rescuing a point for Louis van Gaal's side at the Hawthorns.. Following his move from Ajax, Blind has been a consistent performer, but he says there is no secret to his success.

“It’s going quite well. All in all, I am quite pleased,” he said.

Blind continued: “There is no secret to it. I just try to match the required level of the league and the players around me.

“I have adapted rapidly at United.”
