Paul Pogba’s agent gives fresh Manchester United update after claiming midfielder ‘needs to change team’
Mino Raiola says Pogba is unlikely to leave Old Trafford in the January transfer window
Paul Pogba is unlikely to leave Manchester United in the January transfer window, despite his agent Mino Raiola claiming his time at the club is over.
The outspoken Raiola has claimed that the France international is unhappy at Old Trafford and “needs to change team” after a frustrating season under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, in which he has been left out of some of the side’s most important matches.
Raiola has now accepted that his comment may have been over the top given Pogba issued a statement of his commitment to United on his Instagram page shortly after, but he has still talked up the prospect of a transfer at the end of the season.
"When it comes to him in England they are sensitive, perhaps too sensitive," Raiola was quoted as saying by Tuttosport at the Golden Boy Awards.
"In January, the big players hardly move, then in the summer let's see what happens."

Pogba's future has been an almost constant source of speculation for the last couple of seasons, and reports are currently linking him with a return to Juventus.
Pogba returned to United from Juventus in 2016 for a then-world record £90m, four years after leaving Old Trafford due to a frustration at a lack of playing time under Sir Alex Ferguson that largely depended on a falling out between Raiola and the United manager.
However, the 27-year-old has not quite lived up to expectations since returning as the focal point of United’s midfield, and he has been outshone by January arrival Bruno Fernandes throughout 2020.
