Arsenal star Mesut Ozil has been named the German Player of the Year with a huge victory.
The playmaker, 27, had a sensational 2015 that saw him play a crucial role in the FA Cup in May and help lead Arsenal to the top of the Premier League.
In the calendar year he scored nine goals and added 20 assists for Arsenal in 49 matches.
Five of those goals and 16 assists have come this season, where Ozil has been the standout player in English football - he has created 87 chances this season, the most of any player in Europe's top five leagues.
He had won the award three years in a row from 2011-2013 but lost out last year to Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos.
This year more than 51,000 fans voted for Ozil, giving him 45.9 per cent of the vote, way ahead of Bayern Munich star Thomas Muller (15.9 per cent) and FC Koln left-back Jonas Hector (13.6 per cent)
We're unsure if Arsenal fans rigged the vote...
