No wild parties then.

Liverpool right-back Nathaniel Clyne is set to become manager Brendan Rodgers new next door neighbour, according to reports.

The £12.5m summer buy from Southampton was reportedly spotted checking out a £600,000 house in Formby last week.

The property is next door to Rodgers' £3m mansion.

A source told The Sun: "Nathaniel loves the property next to Brendan. But he'll have to keep the partying to a minimum."

Clyne, 24, has stared all four of Liverpool's Premier League matches this season.

The Reds are next in action against Manchester United on Saturday. Clyne told Liverpool's official website that he is still aiming to improve for both club and country.

"I want to try to improve as a player and going to Liverpool which is a big club is another challenge for me and one that I'm looking to take on," he said.

"I've done well since joining them and I'm looking to improve and get better as a player.

"[With England] I am here now to try to knock down a position at right-back and try to make it my own.

"It's obviously going to be difficult because there are a lot of people who could play right-back and there's a lot of competition but I'm looking forward to it and challenging for it."
