Next Aston Villa manager: Contenders to replace Tim Sherwood, including Remy Garde, David Moyes and Gus Poyet
Who will be the next man in charge at Villa Park?

Aston Villa are seeking a new manager following the sacking of Tim Sherwood.
Sherwood was axed just 10 Premier League games into a season that has so far yielded just one victory. After Sunderland picked up a win hours after Sherwood's dismissal had been confirmed, the Midlands club dropped to the foot of the table.
Attention now turns to who will replace his and become the sixth manager in under six years.
Attracting the preferred candidate may not be simple for the Aston Villa board considering the fate of their recent managers. Since Martin O'Neill departed the club in August 2010. Gerard Houllier, Alex McLeish, Paul Lambert and now Sherwood have all failed to bring consistent results to Villa Park and make the club anything more than consistent relegation contenders.
So who will take on the role? We take a look at the leading contenders...
Aston Villa's next Premier League game is against Tottenham.
