Olivier Giroud has been named on the bench for Arsenal's Premier League clash against Swansea this evening.

This comes despite the Frenchman's expected £18m transfer to Chelsea, which is set to be confirmed tomorrow.

His arrival at Stamford Bridge paves the way for Michy Batshuayi to leave for Borussia Dortmund and for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to complete his £55m move to Arsenal.

Giroud is joined on the bench by new signing Henrikh Mkhitaryan who has yet to make his debut for Arsenal.

Having been cup-tied for the side's League Cup semi-final against Chelsea last week, the Armenian is likely to make his first Arsenal appearance tonight.

Regulars Alexandre Lacazette and Mesut Ozil have both been named in Arsene Wenger's starting XI. Youngster Ainsley Maitland-Niles starts on the bench
