Cardiff will be hoping that striker Frazier Campbell will continue his scintillating form which saw them record a historic victory over Manchester City last weekend in their first ever home game in the Premier League. Everton are still looking for their first win of the season following an opening day draw to Norwich City and a stalemate at home to West Brom.

Both teams were in action in the Capital One Cup in mid-week, Cardiff seeing-off Accrington Stanley whilst Everton needed extra-time to defeat Stevenage. Cardiff’s victory was marred by an injury to £7.5m Danish striker Andreas Cornelius whose ankle problem will rule him out of the fixture against Everton.
