Premier League 2018/19 opening fixtures

Manchester United's Premier League clash with Leicester City has been moved to Friday 10 August, with the fixture opening the new season at Old Trafford.

Sky Sports will broadcast the clash that pits last season’s runners-up against the side who finished in ninth, with the broadcaster also securing the rights for Unai Emery's first match as Arsenal manager as they take on reigning champions Manchester City.

BT Sport on the other hand will open their season with Premier League new boys Wolverhampton Wanderers as they faced Everton, before showing Chelsea's home tie against Arsenal the following weekend.

Arsenal will have to wait until the final game of the opening weekend before getting the Emery era underway at the Emirates as their eagerly-anticipated clash with Pep Guardiola’s side has been moved to a 16:00 kick-off on Sunday afternoon in what will be one of five Premier League games shown on television across the opening weekend.

All 20 clubs will be shown on Sky by the start of October, while BT will feature 12 of the top flight during the same time frame.
