Two of the Premier League’s most out of form sides go head-to-head on Tuesday evening in a fixture that could be decisive in the Premier League relegation battle.

Hull surprisingly managed to stall a run of three consecutive league defeats when they came within a minute of beating Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.

Manager Steve Bruce was delighted with his team’s performance in the 1-1 draw, but Burnley’s draw with West Brom on Sunday ensured that the Tigers’ move out of the relegation zone was only temporary.

Aston Villa ran top of the table Chelsea surprisingly close in a 2-1 defeat at Villa Park, scoring their first goal in 659 minutes in the process. Paul Lambert’s team have struggled for wins as well as goals and haven’t recorded three points in the league since December. They travel to the KC Stadium on the back of four consecutive defeats in which they have conceded ten goals.
