The relegation dogfight could claim its’ first victim this weekend if Leicester City fail to salvage anything of note from their home clash with fellow strugglers Hull. With seven points between them and safety, Nigel Pearson will know that a home win against his former employers on Saturday is crucial if his side are to have any hope of surviving this season.

Similarly, Steve Bruce will be looking for a third win on the bounce to open up some considerable breathing space between The Tigers and the dreaded drop zone.

KICK-OFF: Saturday, 3pm

PAST THREE MEETINGS:

Hull City 0-1 Leicester City (Mahrez), Premier League, December 2014

Hull City 0-0 Leicester City, Championship, December 2012

Leicester City (Nugent 3) 3-1 Hull City (Simpson), Championship, September 2012

ODDS: Leicester 6/5 Draw 12/5 Hull 3/1

Classic Moment:

Hull 2-1 Leicester - 2011

Robert Koren’s 88th minute curler ruined Nigel Pearson’s return to the KC Stadium just 18 days after he left the club for a second spell as Leicester manager. Paul Konchesky’s leveller looked to have won a point for the visitors after Matty Fryatt had given the hosts the lead from the spot, but the Slovenian midfielder would provide the sting in the tail for his former boss.
