After another torrid week for the Premier League‘s contingent of under pressure sides, a period of managerial musical chairs has already begun.
The headline act, of course, came last week as Jose Mourinho succeeded Mauricio Pochettino at Tottenham Hotspur.
However, with Arsenal fans openly revolting against Unai Emery, chanting “we want Emery out” throughout the second half of their dire draw against Southampton, another sequence of sackings already feels imminent. At Bramall Lane, as Oli McBurnie’s last-gasp equaliser consigned Manchester United to just four wins from their opening 13 matches, it wasn’t any prettier for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
Meanwhile, further down the table, Marco Silva‘s sacking at Everton is touted as imminent, while the likes of Manuel Pellegrini and Quique Sanchez Flores are both also teetering on the brink.
